Refund Policy

Who this covers

ChurchPress is operated by Deepak, an individual proprietor in India. Paid subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which is the seller of the subscription for payment purposes and issues your receipt and invoice. This policy explains when we refund a payment, and how to ask for one.

Fourteen days, no questions asked

If ChurchPress is not right for your church, email [email protected] within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full. No forms, no explanation needed, no conditions to meet. This applies to both monthly and annual plans, and to renewals as well as a first payment.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paddle. We approve a request within 2 business days of receiving it; your bank or card issuer may then take a further 5–10 business days to show the money on your statement. Any VAT, GST, or sales tax charged on the payment is refunded with it.

After 14 days

Past 14 days we refund at our discretion — most often where a renewal took you by surprise, or where you were billed twice. If you have not used the service since the charge, tell us. We would rather refund you than keep money for a bulletin you never printed.

Cancelling

Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling on its own does not refund that period, but it does mean you are never charged again. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal, which Paddle hosts — the link is on your account page.

The free tier

The free tier costs nothing and asks for no card, so there is nothing to refund. You are only ever charged if you choose to subscribe to a paid plan.

If a renewal payment fails

Paddle retries a failed renewal automatically, and we email you if it stays unpaid. If it remains unpaid we may pause paid access rather than keep billing, so you are never charged for a period you cannot use.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you, including any statutory right of withdrawal. Where the law gives you a longer or stronger right to a refund than this policy does, that right applies.
